Material is an architecture firm and furniture workshop founded by Tim Fouch located in Portland, Oregon. He and his small team focus on creating poetic spaces and crafting timeless furniture that integrate practicality with sustainability, efficiency and the beauty of natural materials. The work is authentic and heartfelt. A registered architect, and experienced fabricator, Tim is also a loving foster dog dad for rescues in Puerto Rico and along the West Coast. Prior to Material, he was a founding partner of Fieldwork Design for 10+ years. His award winning architectural designs are published frequently, and his furniture can be found in homes and offices throughout Europe and North America.
